The Andermatt Editions — Limited Screen Print Collection

Unveiled at my Andermatt vernissage, this drop gathers three hand-pulled screen prints — Invisible Currents Blue, Invisible Currents Yellow, and Biocode. Each piece translates microscopic observation into abstract geometries and living color, echoing inner flows, signals, and networks that sustain life. Limited editions, signed and numbered.

Invisible Currents Blue — Limited Edition Screen Print by Swiss artist Eilena Braye, inspired by microscopic flows and hidden connections

The Andermatt Story

These works emerge from a vocabulary I’ve developed around the body’s quiet architectures: flows that carry energy, signals that connect, and matrices that hold everything in balance. What begins under the microscope becomes a language of lines, rhythms, and intersections on paper — a meeting point between science and abstraction.

Invisible Currents captures the moment where pathways meet — movement held in structure — while Biocode reflects the living codes that shape growth and transformation. Together, they extend the narrative first shared in Andermatt: an invitation to feel the intelligence of hidden patterns and the harmony within complexity.

Limited Editions

Murotopia screen prints are created as strictly limited editions — each one a rare and collectible fragment of the Andermatt exhibition.

  • Invisible Currents Blue: 35 copies only
  • Invisible Currents Yellow: 50 copies only
  • Biocode: 50 copies only

Each piece is hand-pulled, signed and numbered, and will never be reprinted once sold out. This makes every edition unique in its rarity, carrying both the memory of the exhibition and the value of an artwork crafted with care.

Choosing a limited edition print means investing in a work that is accessible yet collectible, designed to last, and to resonate with spaces from private interiors to curated exhibitions.

Eilena Braye, artist and pathologist, observing through a microscope — inspiration for her bio-inspired abstract paintings

Art Born from Observation

I am Eilena Braye — pathologist and visual artist. My practice begins not from imagination, but from years of clinical observation. I study how the body organizes itself — how structures repeat, pulse, and return — and translate these inner systems into a new visual language of abstraction.

Through Murotopia, I open a window onto the invisible living world, creating works that merge scientific depth with poetic intensity.

FAQ — The Andermatt Editions

What is a silkscreen / screen print?

A silkscreen (screen print) is a hand-pulled, artisan print created by pushing ink through a fine mesh screen that acts like a stencil. Each color has its own screen, and the inks are printed in carefully aligned layers to build depth, clarity, and a refined matte surface. All pieces in The Andermatt Editions are crafted by hand in Switzerland in small, limited editions.

How it’s made (simplified):

  1. Artwork & color separations – the image is prepared so each color becomes its own layer.
  2. Screen preparation – a light-sensitive coating is applied to the mesh to create the stencil.
  3. Exposure & washout – the design is fixed on the screen; open areas will let ink through.
  4. Registration – the paper is positioned precisely so layers align perfectly.
  5. Printing – archival, water-based inks are pulled across the screen with a squeegee; layers are built up for density.
  6. Drying & finishing – each print is inspected, signed & numbered, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.

Why collectors love it:

Rich, opaque color; crisp edges; a subtle, tactile feel; and small variations from the hand process that make each limited edition art print uniquely yours.

What paper do you use?

Premium uncoated fine-art paper (350 g/m²), acid-free with archival properties and a tactile matte finish.

  • Invisible Currents Blue: printed on dark blue, through-dyed paper for chromatic depth and coherence.
  • Invisible Currents Yellow: printed on yellow, through-dyed paper to enhance luminous energy.
  • Biocode: printed on natural (off-white) paper to highlight linework and organic geometry.

What are the sizes?

Each print is A3 (29.7 × 42 cm).

Framed outer size: 38.9 × 51.2 cm (gallery-style).

Are these limited editions?

Yes — Invisible Currents Blue (35), Invisible Currents Yellow (50), and Biocode (50) are limited edition art prints. Each silkscreen is hand-pulled, then signed & numbered by the artist (e.g., 12/50) and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. These are single-run editions — once the stated number is sold, the design is not reprinted. Subtle variations from the hand process make every print uniquely yours within the edition.

Is framing available?

Yes—optional (+CHF 60). Select Encadrement (option) / Framing (optional) to add a white solid-wood frame (made in Europe) with a colored filletblue for Invisible Currents Blue, tangerine for Invisible Currents Yellow & Biocode—plus a thick mat, shatter-resistant acrylic (plexiglass) glazing, and acid-free backing. Each print is assembled in Switzerland; please allow ~2 weeks. Outer size: 38.9 × 51.2 cm. Delivered ready to hang (hardware fitted).

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — via FedEx from Switzerland (tracking & insurance). Local taxes/VAT/duties may apply. USA shipping is temporarily paused.

Can I return my order?

Murotopia is a small, artisanal studio. Each hand-pulled print can show subtle variations (ink layering, registration, paper texture) — these are part of the craft, not defects. Returns are accepted for unframed prints only within 7 days, unused in original packaging with the COA; buyer covers tracked return shipping. Framed orders are made to order and non-returnable unless damaged/defective (report within 5 days with photos).Duties/taxes aren’t refundable.
