Data Blue isolates the instant where an impulse expands into motion. The composition translates the emergence of information into geometric clarity: circular units functioning as carriers of signal across a saturated chromatic field. The work originates in microscopic observation — the moment when a micro-impulse activates a network.

Printed by hand on premium 350 g/m² fine-art paper, this edition uses two distinct ink systems, each serving a different function in the composition.

The background structure is built with a bright pastel blue, obtained by mixing fluorescent blue with a controlled amount of white. The fluorescent base brings an electric, internal glow; the added white diffuses the intensity, creating a clean, radiant pastel that behaves like a soft light source on the cobalt substrate.

The circular forms use a soft opaque white, applied in multiple successive layers to achieve full density on the dark, cobalt-blue dyed-through paper. Each pass increases opacity and presence, producing a crisp, elevated signal that stands sharply against the saturated background.
