Data Stone focuses on the moment when a signal is received rather than emitted.
The composition reflects the internal logic of neuronal propagation: information settling, concentrating, becoming intelligible. It originates in microscopic observation — the phase where a micro-impulse is absorbed by the network.

Printed by hand on premium 350 g/m² fine-art paper, this edition uses two ink systems, each with a precise role in the composition.

The background structure is built with ultramarine blue, a deep, mineral pigment chosen for its stability and its ability to create a grounded, receptive field. On stone-tinted dyed-through paper — a warm, refined beige reminiscent of natural kraft — the ultramarine establishes a quiet, dense base that enhances contrast without overpowering the composition.

The circular forms use the same soft opaque white as Data Blue, applied in multiple successive layers to achieve full opacity on the darker substrate. Each pass increases its density and clarity, producing a sharp, elevated signal that stands firmly against the ultramarine field.
